HOW ELIGIBLE ARE YOU?

Galatians 4: 1 – Think of it this way. If a father dies and leaves an inheritance for his young children, those children are not much better off than slaves until they grow up, even though they actually own everything their father had (NLT).
Yesterday, it was admonished that we should seek God instead of running after wealth because God is the owner of everything. We seek God and gets to Him through Jesus Christ as written in John 14: 6 that, “Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.’”

But how about those who have given their lives to Christ and the promises of the scriptures and their inheritance in Christ are still mirages? Today’s anchored scripture of Galatians 4: 1 answers such a query. Inasmuch as you remain a baby in Christ, you will be ineligible to claim those inheritances.

The Bible classifies all Christians into three categories – babyhood, childhood and manhood. We must past through these stages. No one is born a full grown human naturally but we must not remain as newborn babes (1 Peter 2: 2). It is expedient that we grow in order to live in the reality of God’s will for us. Otherwise, one will remain in slavery forever.
