ONENESS IN CHRIST

Col 3:11(GNB) - "As a result, there is no longer any distinction between Gentiles and Jews, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarians, savages, slaves, and free, but Christ is all, Christ is in all". When Christ came to the world to die for our sins, did he select a particular group or set of people he will be granting eternal life to? The answer is NO!!! It was clearly stated in John 3:16(KJV) that "For God so loved the WORLD, that he gave his only begotten Son, that WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH ON HIM...."
The reason why he sent His son is for everybody to inherit eternal life, provided that they believed in Him(Jesus Christ). Why then do we keep taking sides based on religion and denominations? We absolutely neglected the fact that as believers in the life, death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, we are meant to dwell as one irrespective of which faction we belong to. Imagine christians making denomination a major criteria in job interviews i.e. if you don't attend my church, you
can't get the job. What type of christianity would we call that? preferential or what? CCC Hymn 773 stanza 2 states "Eschew all arrogance and pride". We shouldn't see our religion or church as either superior to or holier than the other. We should learn to love and treat everybody well as long as we serve, worship and call on GOD Almighty. Even unbelievers should not be left out. The second epistle of paul to the thessalonians chapter 3 verse 14 advice christians to do away with them as they  are not of christ but verse 15 instructs us not to do away with them and also ensure we warn them. The only warning we can give them is to preach christ to  them and the dangers affiliated with not believing. Even in the course of preaching, DO NOT TREAT THEM AS ENEMIES because Christ is in all. Conclusively, CCC Hymn  613 : "Those who labour inherit life, Prepare and work oh ye people, The last period is approaching, Thy work Thy work is observed there". Halleluyah.
